By accessing or using cognilumos, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the application.

2. Service Description

cognilumos provides creator research, transcript analysis, AI-assisted strategic breakdowns, and related reporting tools. Outputs are intended to support decision-making and creative analysis, not to guarantee any particular channel or business outcome.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, complying with applicable platform policies, and ensuring your use of the application does not violate law, third-party rights, or YouTube policy.

4. Intellectual Property

The cognilumos platform, analysis systems, branding, and core software remain the property of cognilumos. You retain ownership of original materials you provide and may use your generated outputs subject to these terms and any applicable third-party rules.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, cognilumos is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to cognilumos in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.

6. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle by our merchant of record, Paddle.com. You can cancel at any time from the billing screen; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current cycle. Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Local taxes are added at checkout where applicable.

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by emailing the address in the footer with the subject line "Account Deletion." We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, attempt to bypass rate limits or authentication, scrape the application, or use the outputs to violate YouTube's Terms of Service or applicable law. Sections 4 (Intellectual Property), 5 (Limitation of Liability), 8 (Disclaimer), and 10 (Governing Law) survive termination.

8. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. cognilumos outputs are AI-assisted analyses of public YouTube data and are intended to support your judgment, not replace it. We make no guarantee as to channel growth, monetization, or any specific creative outcome.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced inside the product and the "Last Updated" date above will reflect the change. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be resolved in the courts located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us in good faith at the email address below so we can attempt to resolve the dispute directly.
